Dengue Outbreak

Dengue outbreak is becoming rampant again nowadays. It is probably because of the rainy season. Places are becoming damp and swampy where mosquitoes love to lay their eggs. Eggs when hatched will become those stingy and biting insects carrying the viruses of a dengue fever.

Dengue fever is a life-threatening disease which usually occurs among children. According to Wikipedia, dengue is transmitted to humans by the Aedes (Stegomyia) aegypti or more rarely the Aedes albopictus mosquito, both of which feed exclusively during daylight hours.

So I guess it is better for us to take extra precautions about this. Be concern about pour environment and exercise extra care for our children. Cleanliness is one of the initial steps that we must practice everyday. If our area is essentially clean and sanitized, there will be no room for these disease-carrying creatures.

Let's be more responsible and attentive to the health of our children.
