Macoi Defines My Wholeness

Obviously, for nine (9) months I have carried Macoi in my womb all by myself. Bearing him alone in my tummy was never a problem. I was worried then of raising him alone as I am a single mom.  But as time passes by, nothing has been deemed as a trouble or even a bit of difficulty.
Just the thought of having a wonderful son defines my wholeness as a woman. Almost nothing is impossible if it's about my son. For me every day is a new day, every day is a sense of hope; every day is a fulfillment of being a mother. From the time I cried seeing his umbilical cord bled up to this point when he can already utter words of sweetness and appreciation are all memorable moment for me.
Lola and Macoi
I once hate my real mom but now not anymore. This time, I love being a mom of Macoi. Till the end, I will love my grandmother who stood as my mom through the years as well as my aunts and my friends' moms who have shown me concern and compassion.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the world!

Mommy Moments: Congratulations!

It's time for another:

mommy moments
I was actually thinking twice if I should join this week's theme as my Coi is just turning three this coming June, he's my only child so far and so I believe I don't have to congratulate him for finishing a year of studies.

But since everyday is a blessing and a sense of accomplishment, I still would like to congratulate my son for:
  • eating well - rice, biscuits (no junk foods and sweet candies), and of course for drinking plenty of milk (still through his feeding bottles) averaging 7kilograms of formula milk each month
  • sleeping tight - without noticing that his pee has overflowed on his diaper leaving our bed wet every morning

  • everyday surprises - singing his favorite Willie Revillame's song "I Love You", dancing his favorite "shembot", helping lola reach her glass of water, throwing trash in the bin, organizing his toys in a box
  • beeing such a sweetest son to momi, mama and lala
I love Macoi so much and that I am wishing that I could have enough of resources so I can send him to a better educational institution in time.

To all the moms out there with their children who have graduated from schooling, Congratulations!

Congratulations to the kids but parents deserve it even more as they were the ones who have given their sons and daughters the chance to have a dignified living by means of education.
Cheers! Let's Celebrate!

MM: White

Coi in white polo (inner shirt) during our malling last January this year with my college best friends and their kids as well.

We also brought these children at the "Kidz Republic" in Mall of Asia where they enjoyed playing and had fun taking pictures as well.

This is my share for this week's:

MM : Purple

I couldn't think of anything purple for Coi as I haven't any purple clothes for him. All I know is that he likes "Ube" ice cream. Until I get back to some of his old pics ans saw this one when he was holding Barney.

This photo was taken during his second birthday. I remember he was trying to really hide this toy of him as he doesn't want the visitors to touch it.

Possessive Coi for this week's Mommy Moments.

MM: Green Background for Coi

My love for green things adds up to my enthusiasm joining Mommy Moments again plus the fact that I am bringing my blogs back to life.

For this week's theme, I'd like to share Coi-coi's studio picture when he was five month's young. I just miss him when he was at this stage. I remember my cousin call him "mayor" in this photo.
